Isle of Giglio - local transport

Isle of Giglio is connected to the mainland by ferry service ( it takes about 50 minutes) from Porto Santo Stefano. Connection is guaranteed all the year on a regular schedule. During the summer season it's forbidden to go ashore private vehicles, but on the island you can find a good quality of travel services that offer different choices who need to go around. Bus lines connect the harbour to the main principle points of the island, up to Giglio Castle and Giglio Campese, by frequent fares also by night. A minibus shuttle service (max 8 passengers) is available to take you anywhere you like An alternative for people preferring to go around independent is to rent scooters for all the holiday.
